I started On The Move Removals in 2011 because I wanted to do removals properly. No padding the day to keep the meter running, no rushed jobs, no furniture dropped on the doorstep. Just careful, on-time moves done by people who actually care whether your sofa makes it up the stairs in one piece.
The name took some thought. I wanted something catchy that stuck on people's minds, not the usual "SCU Removals" or "so-and-so's Removals". I checked across the country to make sure no one local already had it, found a couple of On The Move Removals in Australia (far enough away not to clash), and went with it. The colourful logo, the van, the city skyline behind it, all of that was deliberate too. People remember it on the road.
Over ten thousand moves later, that is still how we work. We are based in Golcar, Huddersfield, and from here we cover the whole of West Yorkshire day in, day out. Halifax, Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Barnsley, and every postcode in between. We also run nationwide moves regularly, from London to Edinburgh and everywhere in between, with the same care you would get if your new place was up the road.

The Lads Who Actually Do The Lifting
Shaun's son Jay is full-time and has been on the vans since he was old enough to lift. Customers regularly tell us the same thing: "can't believe how young he is, but he's got so much experience." Cameron, Imme, and the rest of the crew have been with us for years too. Every single one is someone Shaun has known personally since 2008 or earlier.

We also speak more than English on the team. Imme speaks Punjabi and Damir speaks Croatian, which has helped on a few moves over the years.
